There are very few people or services I would ever, with good conscience, recommend to friends but I have added DIAL-A-RAD to this short list. I am a busy self-employed mother living in a small country village & I cannot afford to have my car off the road. I was therefore extremely pleased and impressed by the speed and quality of DIAL-A-RAD’s service. When I explained the problem with my Landrover Discovery the engineer instantly knew what was wrong & which parts to bring to fix it on site for me. Having made several phone calls I was pleased to find someone knowledgeable who was able to give me a competitive quote. With today’s busy lives we all seem to have plenty of problems that need resolving; thankfully in this case a big problem was solved easily. Doesn’t that make a pleasant change!

I would like to drop you a line to say how happy and delighted I am with the service I received from your organisation. My V.W. Passat was in for a routine service and the garage indicated that a new radiator was required. They quoted me £290 plus VAT and I told them I would shop around, at that point they offered a 10% reduction which I declined.

I called five companies. One said they thought they would be able to carry out the work and would “give it a go” Next one said he had never worked on my model , and would see what he needed to do and get back to me. He didn’t. The next two said they would call me back, I am still waiting for their call. None of them gave me any confidence that they knew what they were doing.

I then called DIAL-A-RAD. Your representative was immediately able to discuss what was required to carry out the work, explained the type of fault that often develops with my model and immediately gave me a fixed price, which was half the price quoted by the garage. He obviously knew his stuff !

I was so impressed by his knowledge that although I live outside of the area he covered I said I would drive the 50 miles for him to do the work. I explained that I had some long business journeys and was reluctant to leave it too long. He phoned me back in the evening and said he would be able to fit the work in for me first thing in thing the next morning, if I was still prepared to do the journey, even though he was really fully booked for the rest of the week.

The next day I got lost and your representative even came and found me. I must say he was extremely pleasant, helpful and an expert in his field. Two hours later I left with the car repaired and tested, having paid exactly the price quoted.

It is so rare these days to find such good service and I will be happy to provide a recommendation to anyone, I only wish I lived nearer!
